Dutch’s Spirits

Dutch’s Spirits is a distillery in Dutchess County New York built over a network of secretive bunkers during the Prohibition era. It was believed to be one of the largest bootlegging operations in North Eastern America led by infamous gangster Dutch Schultz. In 1932 it was shutdown by federal agents with an estimated ten thousand barrels of illegal moonshine found on-site.

My role included the creation of nearly every visual asset of this brand including logos, marks, spirits & bitters labels, product packaging, print advertising, marketing collateral, event signage, and the implementation of all the above across print and digital mediums. The response has been very positive on the consumer and the client side.

In September of 2014, an independent panel of judges from The Great American Distillers Festival awarded Dutch’s Spirits Sugar Wash Moonshine a Bronze Medal for my packaging design.
